Today through Saturday, a group of Compassion Bloggers will be traveling in Nicaragua, blogging daily about their experience, the stories they hear, the children they meet, and the work of the Compassion ministry.

I learned about Compassion by following a Compassion blogger trip. My life was forever changed by our decision to sponsor a child through Compassion. I love the work that this ministry does in Jesus’ name which is why I’m so passionate about sharing it.

I hope you will join me this week and follow along to learn more about this ministry and the people who are served through it. Maybe sponsorship isn’t for you at this time but maybe you could pray for the bloggers as they travel, or for a child that you learn about during this trip, or for the Compassion ministry itself.

Throughout this week, I will be tweeting, sharing posts on Facebook and even sharing another blog post or two of my own as I follow these bloggers on their journey. Join me?

Good Monday morning! How was you weekend? Ours was fun. We went to a baseball game Saturday night and then showed my husband some Father’s Day love before he had to go into work last night.

Sister starts summer band today and I’m going to be focused on VBS prep this week. We have company arriving this weekend as well.

Here’s what we’ll be eating this week.

Breakfast: Baked Oatmeal, fresh fruit, nuts, eggs & biscuits, Breakfast Pizza

Dinner:

Fiesta Spaghetti

Grilled Chicken, asparagus, roasted potatoes

Sandwich night

Chicken wraps

Fresh seafood

Grilled burgers, corn, potatoes

Travel back in time with Chris, Joy and their robot Gizmo and experience Bible stories with this award-winning animation series.

Saturday Spotlight 6/15/13

Good Saturday morning! It’s a good day here. Sister is back home after being at camp in Tennessee this week and my hubby is back home after being out of town for work for a few days. Baby Girl and I enjoyed our one on one time this week but it was a very nice feeling for us all to be back under the same roof last night.

We’re headed to watch a little baseball tonight. It’s part of our Father’s Day celebration for the hubby. It should be fun.
