Since I couldn’t devote this past weekend to freezer cooking, I spread it out over the course of a week. Whenever I had a chance, I’d make something that was on my list. I didn’t complete everything I planned but I’m done for this month I think. I did put several things in the freezer though which will be a big help in the weeks ahead.
This is what I put in the freezer/pantry this month:
2 balls of whole wheat pizza dough
Homemade Taco Seasoning
3-1 lb. bags of Crock Pot Chicken Taco Meat
10 Chocolate Butterhorns – I baked most of them for our company this weekend so only 10 made it to the freezer.
2 Cinnamon Twist Loaves – This was the first time I’ve made these. I baked two and froze two. They are so yummy!
I never made the Spaghetti Pie. I may add it to the menu plan next week and make a double batch and put one in the freezer. It would be nice to have another dinner in the freezer.
I definitely prefer getting everything done in one or two days but being flexible allowed me to add quite a bit to the freezer over the course of the week.
