March ’11 Freezer Cooking Plan

It’s the first weekend of the month which means it’s time to do some freezer cooking. I still have several things in the freezer from the last couple of months so when I first started planning out this month’s list I thought it would be pretty short. That idea didn’t last long.

I’m learning to simplify things by sticking to one type of meat per session. This month all the dinners will be made with a ground beef/turkey mixture. Next month, my chicken should be running low so I’ll probably focus on that. I’ll be making some of our favorites as well as trying out some new things this month.

Here’s my plan:
Chocolate Butterhorns
Lemon Blueberry Muffins
Homemade Cream of Celery Soup – This is new and I’m looking forward to trying it.
Taco Meat
Meatball Calzones made with whole wheat dough
