Saturday Spotlight 3/12/11

Happy Saturday! Today is our first full day of spring break. We are very excited to have this next week off. I think the girls have been counting down to this week since Christmas break. We have some fun things planned for this week but I’ll tell you about that later. For now I have another great blog to share with you this week.

Susan has been a part of the Frugal & Focused family for quite some time now. She’s a mom with two young girls about the same age as mine. I’ve enjoyed getting to know her and sharing the commonality of our adventures. At Busy ‘Lil Homemaker, Susan shares recipes, parenting adventures, her journey of faith and more. Susan was part of my Focus on Thanksgiving series and shared a beautiful post in which she shared ways her family enjoyed God’s creation in the fall. Be sure to stop by Susan’s blog to say hello and be encouraged. Thanks for being a part of the Frugal & Focused family, Susan. It’s a blessing to have you here.

{Spotlight On} St. Patrick’s Day

Shamrock Marshmallow Pops at Poco Cosa – These are adorable and a great way to use leftover or clearanced heart shaped marshmallows from Valentine’s Day.

St. Patrick’s Day Mantel: Subway Art & Garland at Hoosier Homemade – This post is filled with lots of fun decorating ideas.

Paper Rosette Shamrock at Ali Lilly – I love this adorable and frugal decorating idea.

Pot Of Gold Cupcakes at Confessions of a Cookbook Queen – What a fun treat and so very clever.

Shamrock Flower Pot at Inspiring Creations - This is so cute and super simple. A fun way to treat someone on St. Patrick’s Day.

Do you have a post you would like in the spotlight this week? Leave a link to it in the comments below so we can stop by and read it. And be blessed this weekend!
