I like spreadable butter but don’t particularly like the products available in the store. A few years back my husband and I started making our own spreadable butter. Butter is pricey and by making your own spreadable butter you can not only make it stretch farther but also easier to spread.
1 stick butter, softened
1/2 cup olive oil
In a blender or food processor, blend together butter and oil until smooth. Pour into a bowl and refrigerate.
This melts quickly so you’ll want to keep it refrigerated until you need it. It’s great on bread, pasta, baked potatoes and more.

- Pour into a bowl and store in refrigerator.
