We reviewed setting the proper temperature and timer on the oven and how to properly measure dry ingredients. And I showed them how to fold in ingredients. They did a great job of working together and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast that morning.
We’re having a lot of fun spending time together in the kitchen this summer. I’m seeing them show more initiative in the kitchen. Baby Girl especially loves coming up with ideas to try. The other morning she made us breakfast all by herself – frozen waffles topped with whipped cream, blueberries and chocolate chips. Kids are so creative with food!
