Free Printable Scripture Lunch Box Notes

I have a long-standing tradition of sending love notes in my girls’ lunch boxes. Since they spend 6+ hours at school each day, I like to include that little touch of encouragement from home.

Last year I found myself including scripture verses more often so I decided to create some scripture printables to include in the lunch boxes this year. Each note includes an encouraging phrase that captures the essence of each verse while being understandable for children of all ages. I also included the verse that corresponds with the phrase.

I hope you and your kids will enjoy these.

  1. They are all very nice for children in a number of ways…thanks for sharing Janet. Wishing you a delightful weekend!

  2. so wonderful -I had to pin them–my kids will enjoy getting these…its also a great way to get them talking about the LORD at lunch time–its one thing I’m so envious of HOW EZ kids find it to talk about God.

    • Thank you! Yes, I can see how they could be conversation starters as well. Kids share what is on their hearts so easily. We adults could certainly follow their lead in that respect, at least I know I could. Thanks for joining in here.

  3. Awwww – these are so cute! Thank you. I used to always include notes in my kids lunch boxes – sometimes verses or pass it ons, other times quotes, and occasionally I’d add a tic tac toe board or one of those connect the dots to make squares game boards that I’d make up with pen and later with the new computer we got when they FIRST came out (doesn’t that date me a bit 🙂 ).

Now its fun times with grandkids and occasionally notes for them when I sometimes help with their lunches. Sweet joys indeed.

Thanks again for this treat and for a lovely visit for the Ultimate Blog Party 2013. Hope to see you at SandwichINK 🙂 Blessings!

  4. This is something I’ve been meaning to do but never remember. Thank you!
