The weather was beautiful this weekend and the girls and I made the most of it. We headed to a hiking trail a short drive from where we live and spent some time exploring nature.
I grew up in the country and spent a lot of time outdoors playing and exploring in the woods around our house.
My girls have never really had much of that kind of freedom so I’m trying to be more intentional about getting them out into the beautiful outdoors to explore.
I’m sure I enjoyed the hike as much if not more than they did. I certainly feel that adventurous spirit I had as a child coming out when I’m out in nature.
There are so many places to explore around here. I’m looking forward to many more adventures with my girls.
