For the last six weeks or so, I’ve felt stretched thin. The car wreck, car search, multiple chiropractic visits, a foot sprain, a dropped saxophone, as well as various school functions all added extra stress and activity to the busyness of the Fall season, which left little time to just breathe.
I have struggled with moments of discouragement all the while working on a series of encouraging quotes.
I have sought God in early morning moments, late night fatigue and middle of the day chaos, crying out for refreshment for my dry, weary bones.
And He’s given it.
I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.
He will always give us what we need. When we are dry, weary and stretched thin, all we need to do is look to the One who gives refreshment.
