Weekly Menu Plan 1/13/14


Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend. We’re celebrating a birthday this week which is always fun. My husband’s birthday is on Wednesday. He is 6 1/2 months younger than me so I always look forward to him catching up to me each year. *giggle*

We tried a Shrimp Roll recipe that we loved last week. It was quick, easy and very tasty.

Here’s what we’ll be eating this week.

Breakfast: cereal, eggs & toast, nuts, fresh fruit


Blueberry Waffles

Grilled Cheeseburger Wraps

Husband’s Birthday Dinner- He’s still undecided about the meal but he has requested Bread Pudding for dessert.

Sweet Garlic Glazed Chicken (new to us), rice, veggies

Homemade pasta(maybe, thinking about giving this a try) with Marinara, salad

  2. The waffles sound fabulous. I’ve done blueberry pancakes before but never waffles. Might have to give it a go next week. Tortillas are great for using around burgers. I love how the meat ratio is much great than when using buns. :-)

    • Deanna, the waffles were so yummy! Very light and crispy. My girls really like those wraps. They are great for when you want a burger but don’t feel like firing up the grill.

  3. We are wanting to try the shrimp rolls one day, shrimp fried rice ( had some left over) deer roast and a taco ring. Of course we will have some yummy vegtables from our garden one day. Happy Birthday to our son-in-law!!
