Hello, friends! We are wrapping up the year and preparing for 2016. I wanted to stop and look back at the highlights of November and December before we turn the page.
The last two months were pretty packed which is why I’m combining my November highlights with my December highlights.
We wrapped up football season and then the weekend before Thanksgiving we headed to Tampa for the Florida Marching Band Championships. Our band made it to finals and did a fantastic job. They were up against some serious competition and held their own.
After FMBC, we headed over to Disney with the band. This was Thanksgiving week mind you so it was crazy busy but even when it’s crazy busy, Disney is still fun.
We didn’t get to see much of Sister while there since she spent most of the time with her group from band so it was a little different than our previous trips. Still, we had a blast and Baby Girl got a lot of mom and dad time.
December was filled with a choir concert, band concerts, Christmas activities, shopping, and exams. Thankfully things slowed down in the last few days before Christmas.
We got to enjoy a quiet Christmas at home before heading up to see my family on Christmas night and the day after.
