In the past, I never cared much for cabbage. I’d eat it in coleslaw every now and then and in the occasional eggroll but cabbage was not a regular part of my diet. And honestly, the idea of cooked cabbage outside of an eggroll held no appeal.
However, when I started eating healthier, I often found healthy dinner ideas that included cabbage and so I decided to give it a try.
Chicken Apple Sausage with Cabbage was one of the first ways I tried cooked cabbage and I fell in love with it. This dish is so flavorful. I actually look for recipes that include cabbage now.
