When I was growing up my mom would make salmon patties for dinner from time to time. And while I liked them okay, they were not my favorite thing to eat. As a result, I really never made them once I was grown.
When I started following the Trim Healthy Mama plan, I decided to give salmon patties another try and I really liked them. Amazing how our tastes change over the years.
I like that they’re an easy and fairly inexpensive way to get a healthy dinner on the table.

I prefer to use oat flour over regular oats and also leave the optional jalapeno out.
This is a THM(S) or satisfying meal so be sure to pair it with non-starchy veggies like a salad with creamy dressing or steamed broccoli.
This also makes a great real food meal.
