We were created to showcase God’s glory. In A Spectacle of Glory: God’s Light Shining through Me Every Day, Joni Eareckson Tada with Larry Libby, offer insight into how to put God’s glory on display in your life.

Eareckson, who has spent more than fifty years living as a quadriplegic with chronic pain, knows that it is possible to say “yes” to God no matter how difficult the circumstances so God may be glorified.

A Spectacle of Glory is a lovely devotional that is small enough to hold in one hand. It contains 365 daily devotions. Each devotion offers a scripture reference, a short reflection, and a prayer.

The devotions, though brief, are insightful and encouraging. They show that no matter what challenges we may be facing, God is present and working in our lives.

It is important to remember that this is a devotional book not a Bible study. It does not dig deep into scripture. However, it does offer valuable truth and insight.

We have been using this as a family devotional in the evenings before bed. It has been a great way to be still together and refocus our thoughts at the end of the day.

If you are looking for a daily devotional this would make a good choice. It would make a nice gift as well.
